Job Title Mountain Camp Cafe Lead Supervisor (Age 21+)

Rate of Pay $21.00/hr
Shift Full-time Seasonal position
Variable AM/PM shifts Sunday through Saturday
Weekends And Holidays Required Weekends And Holidays Required
FLSA Status Non-Exempt/Hourly
Summary Lead and oversee all operations of the Mountain Camp Café, guiding the team with strong leadership that builds a culture of quality, teamwork, and accountability. Set the tone for hospitality and ensure the café delivers exceptional service and guest experiences.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Supervise, train, and manage Employees on assigned shifts.
Ensure compliance with all rules, regulations, and procedures.
Accurately document incidents involving guests or Employees.
Inspect Employee uniforms, cleanliness, and identification.
Conduct daily line-ups and communicate new procedures.
Maintain a safe work environment and promote teamwork.
Provide courteous service to vendors, guests, and Employees.
Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and initiate service recovery.
Order and serve food and beverages, ensuring quality.
Manage payment transactions and maintain knowledge of the Point of Sale system.
Perform side work, bus tables, and reset them promptly.
Stay informed about resort events and hours of operation.
Submit orders to vendors regularly, routinely check inventory & ensure costs are managed.
PRODUCT QUALITY
Consistently prepare beverages to company standards.
Adhere to recipes and maintain top product presentation.
Educate guests on products and services.
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
Understand and comply with all laws regarding alcohol service.
Serve alcohol responsibly and communicate beverage knowledge to guests.
Complete paperwork for bar transfers and inventory.
Train, and manage Employee performance, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
1 year of related experience or equivalent education/experience.
Obtain valid food handler's permit and Tips & Sips alcohol permit within 30 days of hire.
Pass UDABC background check and submit fingerprints for liquor license.
Must have a clean and clear driving record and be capable of operating a Sundance vehicle.
Must be 21 years or older.
Able to lift 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally; Able to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks.
Other Duties
Clean and maintain work areas, keeping them in good repair.
Stock supplies and maintain a safe, sanitary workplace.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Interview, hire, train, and manage staff performance.
Handle employee issues, including discipline and recognition.
Complete related paperwork and submit it to HR promptly.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Regular exposure to wet/humid conditions and occasional loud noise.
Exposure to fumes and airborne particles.
