Hall's Culligan of San Diego is searching for an experienced
Route Manager
to lead our Route team. The
Route Manager
is responsible for ensuring a successful route operation, route and customer retention, and new hire growth.

Responsibilities
Manage departmental budgets—revenue and costs.
Drive continuous growth of route delivery and improve customer service.
Daily monitor new customers for accurate routing, product needs, and customer requests.
Coordinate hiring, retention, and training of all delivery staff as needed.
Perform scheduled ride‑alongs with all route staff.
Evaluate route delivery employee work practices on an ongoing basis.
Develop individual growth plans and track sales for all route delivery staff.
Ensure truck operation safety practices are being followed.
Ensure paperwork is completed accurately.
Organize and assign daily route directives for route delivery staff.
Ensure all department staff follow company guidelines, safety practices, and standard operating procedures.
Monitor daily work orders to ensure all route delivery staff are completing assigned stops accurately and timely.
Track and analyze customer quit reduction.
Maintain the vehicles of the dealership—schedule oil changes, regular maintenance, and vehicle routing decisions.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years' experience in route management.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in team/people management.
Must maintain a valid Driver’s License.
Must pass a DOT Physical and DOT Drug Screen.
Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen per Company requirements.
Must be at least 21 years of age with an insurable driving record.
Must lift up to 90 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
Must be physically capable, with or without reasonable accommodation, to perform the duties of this position.
Strong problem‑solving skills.
Preferred experience hiring, training, and supervising employees.
Solid verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Ability to self‑direct activities and manage time to ensure productivity.
Ability to thrive and multi‑task in an active working environment.
Demonstrated competency in Excel and other software platforms.
Outstanding “team” attitude.
