Senior Platform Engineer, Workday (Workday Recruiting) – Capital One

General Responsibilities

Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios

Understand and translate the priorities of the business while integrating HR value proposition and strategies to meet the needs of the business

Deliver solutions in Workday Recruiting, through efficient and organized processes while maintaining high standards

Effectively communicate across team, Product Owner, stakeholders and influence solutions across business partners

Identify opportunities for process improvements, collaborate with HR partners to provide innovative ideas and insights to redesign business processes that will optimize business results

Continually research, test and stay up‑to‑date on Workday updates, fixes and capabilities

Build & maintain thorough documentation for system implementation

Primary contact for questions related to how the system works from a business and a technical perspective

Provide production support for Workday by troubleshooting problems, testing, and working with the business to resolve issues

Basic Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification

At least 4 years of experience with Workday functional configuration tasks (Recruiting, HCM)

At least 2 years of experience configuring business processes within the Workday platform

At least 1 year of experience with calculated fields or custom reports

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

5+ years of experience with Workday functional configuration (Recruiting, HCM)

2+ years of experience with Workday Integrations

Experience working in an agile delivery environment

Workday or Workday Pro certifications (HCM, Recruiting)

2+ years of experience with Workday Security or Workday Reporting

1+ years of experience loading HCM data into Workday using existing Enterprise Interface Builders (EIB’s)

Chicago, IL: $115,900 - $132,200 for Senior Platform Engineer

McLean, VA: $127,500 - $145,500 for Senior Platform Engineer

New York, NY: $139,100 - $158,700 for Senior Platform Engineer

Plano, TX: $115,900 - $132,200 for Senior Platform Engineer

Richmond, VA: $115,900 - $132,200 for Senior Platform Engineer

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
