Opportunity Join Adobe’s prestigious After Effects engineering team in Seattle, WA, and help shape the future of motion graphics and visual effects. We seek a highly skilled, motivated Software Development Engineer with deep expertise in C++ and architectural design.
What you’ll do
Design, develop, and implement After Effects features used by millions of users globally.
Collaborate with multi‑functional teams to deliver innovative features and enhance existing ones.
Conduct detailed code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high code quality.
Partner with quality engineers to test and validate features through automation and manual testing.
Follow Agile methodologies to deliver reliable, maintainable code.
Drive continuous improvement by identifying and executing process and product enhancements.
Mentor junior engineers, fostering an environment of growth and learning.
What you need to succeed
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a software engineer.
Proven track record of developing high‑quality C++ desktop applications.
Outstanding problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills.
Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies.
Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex concepts to non‑technical collaborators.
A collaborative spirit, thriving in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
A passion for continuous learning and staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Compensation The U.S. pay range for this position is $133,900 – $242,000 annually, varying by location and experience. Base salary and short‑term incentives are expressed in the same format for non‑sales roles.
