Job Description As an Equinox Pilates Instructor, you will develop and refine a personalized Pilates program while maximizing both your personal and client potential. Under the guidance of a dedicated Pilates manager, you will grow your book of business and help redefine the science of fitness and the art of living.

Primary Responsibilities

Develop a safe, professional, and comprehensive Pilates training program for each client.

Conduct complimentary initial assessments and goal‑setting sessions.

Instruct private, duet, and semi‑private sessions.

Collaborate with the Pilates Manager to grow your client base.

Complete all client‑management administrative requirements.

Work with other club departments to provide a well‑rounded experience.

Deliver excellent customer service to all members and guests.

Maintain consistent and frequent client activity to help them achieve results.

Participate in ongoing training and development.

Keep studio and equipment clean and safe.

Qualifications

Completion of a comprehensive Pilates teacher training program or certification on all Pilates apparatus (mat, reformer, cadillac/trapeze, wunda chair, high or combo chair, barrels).

At least 400 hours of Pilates education from a certified program.

Valid copies of all Pilates certifications.

Exceptional customer‑service skills.

Essential Physical Requirements

Standing, sitting, and walking.

Squatting, bending, and reaching.

Ability to push, pull, spot, and correct clients safely during sessions.
