Position Project Architect / Project Manager

Compensation $110,000‑$150,000 annually, commensurate with experience

Location 101 Montgomery Street at Sutter, downtown San Francisco (accessible by MUNI and BART)

About the Position Project Architect / Project Manager to lead high-value architectural projects in the commercial interiors, hospitality, and residential sectors.

Responsibilities

Develop an understanding of the client, their priorities, preferences, and communication style; execute the project to engender trust and deepen client relationships.

Understand the internal and external teams and navigate the project to a successful conclusion.

Lead project design and project management, initially with the aid of principals or other personnel, with the intent of leading autonomously.

Oversee all phases of projects from schematic design through construction administration.

Produce and manage project schedules, work plans, client correspondence, and documentation.

Support teammates’ efforts to help them succeed; mentor junior staff members.

Requirements

8–15 years of relevant experience in architecture.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an NAAB‑accredited school of architecture.

Licensed architect, or in the process of licensure.

Strong technical and design skills.

Ability to successfully manage projects and budgets around clients’ needs.

Exceptional communication and organizational skills.

Proficiency with Revit.

Preferred Experience

Minimum of two to three years of project management experience.

Experience with commercial interior projects (retail, restaurants, hospitality, or design‑forward medical) and/or high‑end residential projects.
