As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. What You’ll Do

Provide customer service to clients at government locations by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior.

Document security-related incidents, observations, and actions taken during patrols in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.

Work collaboratively with site personnel and local authorities as needed to support security-related objectives and emergency response.

Remain alert and attentive to surroundings to help to deter potential disturbances or breaches.

Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned location to help to deter unwanted activity and support a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements

Customer service experience is preferred.

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
