Responsibilities
Lead the vision, strategy, and execution for risk data and geospatial intelligence across the Intelligent Risk Platform (IRP).
Define how enriched risk data, data quality tools, and third‑party hazard/event data are exposed and activated across IRP applications.
Build user experiences, workflows, and decision‑support interactions that enable underwriters, exposure managers, portfolio analysts, and reinsurance professionals to consume and apply the data.
Ensure each IRP application—UnderwriteIQ, ExposureIQ, Risk Modeler, TreatyIQ, and others—leverages the right data in the right context based on user persona, job‑to‑be‑done, and industry use case.
Act as the bridge between IRP data & platform teams and application product teams & customers.
Own the vision and roadmap for risk data experiences across the IRP application suite.
Translate enriched data outputs into context‑aware UI experiences, visualizations, and workflows.
Collaborate with UX and platform teams to deliver hazard layers, confidence scores, location intelligence visuals, and quality indicators directly to users.
Develop platform‑wide standards, reusable components, and best practices for incorporating enriched risk data.
Engage customers, brokers, insurers, reinsurers, and MGAs to validate workflows and ensure data delivers actionable business value.
Build internal alignment across underwriting, catastrophe modeling, and data science stakeholders.
Qualifications
10+ years product management experience in insurance, reinsurance, catastrophe modeling, or geospatial risk analytics.
Deep understanding of property & casualty workflows including underwriting, exposure management, portfolio risk, and event response.
Strong background in geospatial intelligence and location‑based data applications.
Experience delivering data‑driven user experiences and workflow‑centric SaaS applications.
Proven ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives across UX, platform, engineering, and modeling teams.
Preferred
Familiarity with hazard data, event footprints, loss modeling, and catastrophe workflows.
Understanding of exposure data standards (OED, EDM, CEDE) and data quality frameworks.
Experience integrating third‑party risk data providers and real‑time event feeds.
Industry visibility—published insights, conference speaker, or committee participation.
Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts with enthusiasm for learning AI tools to improve processes and drive efficiency.
Compensation & Benefits For US-based roles only: anticipated base salary range $181,500.00 – $263,100.00, plus incentive compensation.
