Base pay range:
$120,000 - $150,000 per year

Your New Role
Provide technical leadership in investigation, rehabilitation, and design of building enclosure systems for historic and contemporary structures.
Hone expertise on waterproofing systems, including air/water barriers and fenestration.
Build key client relationships while responding to local market project opportunities/RFPs.
Deliver exceptional service encompassing forensics, litigation support, and insurance matters.
What you Bring to the Table
A Bachelor's or Master's degree backed by 10+ years’ experience in building sciences focusing on enclosure technology.
Field knowledge addressing site specifics and managing construction contracts.
Proven track record in business development and nurturing professional connections.
Leadership experience overseeing both expansive projects and smaller, intricate builds.
Key Responsibilities This is a leadership role focused on growth in Washington, DC, and the mid-Atlantic market.
Develop building enclosure consulting for new and existing buildings in the eastern US region.
Provide technical leadership in investigation, rehabilitation, and design of building enclosure systems.
Specialize in design and integration of complex building enclosure systems (waterproofing, air and water barriers, rain screen cladding, fenestration).
Handle existing building repairs and rehabilitation, develop client relationships, and respond to project opportunities and RFPs.
Deliver building science services including forensics, litigation support, and insurance assistance.
Skills and Competencies
Excellent technical knowledge of building enclosure.
Evaluate building enclosures and facades for commercial and multifamily residential properties, providing comprehensive investigative reports.
Conduct roof condition assessments, water intrusion surveys, and manage inspections for roof replacements and new installations; perform water and air intrusion testing on fenestration systems.
Experience with façade materials: brick masonry, steel siding, curtain walls, window walls, precast or cast-in-place concrete panels.
Build collaborative relationships with clients, staff, and consultants.
Gather and diagnose information, assess conditions, and troubleshoot building inspection issues.
Strong investigative aptitude, analytical problem‑solving, and leadership potential.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including presentation.
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, organizational skills, and eagerness to assume responsibility.
Benefits and Perks The base salary range for this position is $120,000-$150,000 annualized for a full-time role. Base salary is dependent on various factors, including qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. You also will be eligible for discretionary incentives and share ownership.
