Base pay range $51.00/hr - $58.00/hr
Responsibilities
Understand project and business context to create materials, document meetings, and support execution
Project Manager will develop and manage project plans, templates, and governance structures
Prepare and support governance meetings (e.g., initiation, prioritization, reviews, backlog updates)
Create project deliverables, reports, and presentations
Assist with stakeholder engagement and change management
Act as an integrator across the team for alignment, progress tracking, and issue visibility
Demonstrated experience with dashboards, KPIs, executive reports; skilled in data analysis and presenting insights
Support governance frameworks, manage project artifacts, and facilitate structured meetings
Apply PMO methodologies, SDLC, and Agile frameworks to support delivery
As a Project Manager, you will coordinate initial project assessments to build strong portfolios
Ensure adherence to PMO governance processes and methodology
Identify and implement opportunities to optimize portfolio management and reporting
Provide actionable insights and recommendations to project managers and leadership
Comply with quality assurance standards and external agency requirements when applicable
Ensure governance across projects: meetings, reporting, metrics, risk/issue management, and quality assurance
Align initiatives with technical objectives and organizational strategy
Requirements
5+ years of IT project management experience leading complex, cross-functional projects
Expertise in hybrid and Agile methodologies within large IT enterprises; Experience managing vendors
Strong knowledge of portfolio, program, and project management standards (PMI, Agile)
Skilled in planning and adapting in fast-changing environments; guide teams through change
Excellent communication, negotiation, and ability to support technical and non-technical staff
Capable of translating complex technical requirements into clear, actionable components
Proficient in project management tools (Microsoft Project, JIRA, etc.)
Proven ability to lead teams and implement new systems and processes
PMO or IT project management experience preferred
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
