We are looking for an experienced Product Review Engineer in Seal Beach, CA to support the Airframe (Structures) Service Engineering organization. The selected candidate will work with customers to ensure their fleets operate safely, efficiently, and reliably while applying broad knowledge of Boeing commercial aircraft design principles to assess and resolve product and process issues throughout the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Provide support within the Airframe (Structures) Service Engineering organization by working with customers to ensure that their fleets are operating safely, efficiently, and reliably.
Apply broad knowledge of Boeing commercial aircraft design principles to assess and resolve product and process issues throughout the product lifecycle.
Lead other engineers in conducting root cause analysis and developing dispositions for design non‑conformances.
Apply engineering principles to research technical, operational, and quality issues that cannot be resolved through either customer or design engineering solutions.
Identify documents, analyze reported problems, and communicate deviations that could impact design intent and safety.
Recommend and manage resolutions to reported problems and deviations.
Develop and implement product and process improvements.
Represent the engineering community in the build through post‑production environment.
Develop customer correspondence for continued safe operation and maintenance of aircraft.
Supervise junior professional employees performing design repair solutions.
Basic Qualifications (Required)
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Aerospace Engineering or a closely related field.
At least 5 years of experience as a Stress Engineer, Service Engineer, Product Engineer, or a related occupation.
At least 5 years of experience with each of the following:
Responding and resolving service requests on Boeing 7 Series products.
Structures engineering on Boeing 7 Series products.
Creating repair plans.
Conducting static strength analysis on repair designs.
Designing jacking and shoring schemes.
At least 3 years of experience leading a team of 10 or more engineers.
Multiple positions available.
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
