Tax Senior Manager
Focus:
HNW individuals + closely held businesses (S-Corps)
Location:
100% REMOTE (Office located in Los Angeles; hybrid possible)
About Our client is a premier business management firm specializing in serving the unique financial and tax needs of high-profile individuals, including professional athletes, actors, celebrities, and other ultra-high-net-worth individuals.
Responsibilities
Work with business management teams to conduct high level detail reviews of complex multi-state tax returns for ultra high net worth individuals
Review multi-state tax returns for HNWI and their closely held businesses—primarily S-Corps, with occasional C-Corps, Partnerships, and Estate returns
Supervise, train, and mentor staff in tax return preparation
Partner with business management teams to gather information and ensure timely, accurate filings
Manage workflow and prioritize tasks during tax deadlines
Stay current on federal and state tax laws, accounting standards, and relevant technologies
Requirements
CPA preferred
Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field
10+ years of relevant tax experience with high-net-worth individuals
3+ years of tax review experience
2+ years of supervisory experienceMust have California returns experience
