Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented
Accounting Clerk
with experience in
Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
to join a dynamic team in
Westlake Village . This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their accounting skills in a supportive environment with the potential for long-term placement.
Key Responsibilities
Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments
Match, batch, and code invoices accurately
Handle check runs, ACH, and wire payments
Assist with customer billing, cash applications, and collections
Reconcile customer and vendor accounts
Monitor aging reports and assist in resolving discrepancies
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the accounting system
Support month-end close and general ledger activities as needed
Respond to internal and external inquiries in a professional manner
Requirements
2+ years of experience in accounting, with focus on AP and AR
Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Accounting a plus
