Job Description
Ready to make a difference? BAE Systems is looking for Systems Engineering Leads to work as part of a cross‑functional, multi‑disciplinary team to design, integrate, debug, and test next‑generation EW systems. Focused on delivering innovative Electronic Warfare (EW) solutions, individual technical contributions on a related range of programs will include system development, requirements development, integration and test, and test planning and execution in a field deployment environment.
Responsibilities
Leading a medium or large team of Systems Engineers on EW related programs
Managing all system engineering content and work products
Understanding and implementing the product development process
Schedule and cost account responsibilities for systems team
Execution of systems planning and requirements development
Creation and review of systems requirements to include software, component, subsystem, and operational concepts
Allocation of requirements to engineering disciplines
Creating system test plans, procedures and reports
Leading product design, development, integration, and verification
Outside contact with customers, other contractors and government officials
Managing and participating in trade studies, peer reviews, and customer meetings
Preparing and delivering technical presentations internally and with customers
Monitoring and reporting metrics such as System Technical Performance Measures
Supporting proposal development activities, including proposal text development, cost and schedule estimating, and presentation activities
This position will require you to be onsite in either Nashua, NH or Manchester, NH. Because of the need for consistent, in‑person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed
full‑time on site . This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's Degree of Science (or equivalent experience in a relevant field) with a minimum work experience of: 12 years with BS, 10 years with MS, 8 years with PhD
Active U.S. Government security clearance (able to obtain TS)
Leadership skills and experience directing and mentoring engineers on complex programs
Expert in effectively documenting, communicating, leading and working with a team on designs, results, reports, and presentations
Experience performing systems engineering activities across the development cycle (analysis/decomposition/derivation/allocation of requirements, system modeling & simulation, system design & development, system integration & test)
Experience developing viable concept solutions, identifying and tracking technical risks, and leading technical teams
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related engineering discipline with 11 years of experience, or Ph.D. with 9 years of experience
Project/Program team member responsible for a dynamic workflow
Experience with EW and/or Radar and Missile Systems
Experience with technical performance measurements and cost account management
Model‑based systems engineering experience with tools such as MagicDraw
Familiarity or experience with Agile Systems Engineering
Active United States security clearance, Top Secret, SCI Eligible
Pay Information Full‑Time Salary Range: $146,670 – $249,330
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, and candidate qualifications such as skills, education, and experience.
