Travel Opportunity: RN - ICU Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts with weekend, holiday, and call requirements • 13-week assignment duration • Must have completed at least 1 successful travel assignment - new travelers not considered • Current critical care experience preferred • Must have current New York State RN license • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, IV and IV contrast certification • PALS certification preferred • Must complete coronary care course or challenge exam within orientation period • Basic lethal dysrhythmia certification required within six months of employment • NIHSS certification required within first 6 months of employment • Must be graduate from accredited School of Nursing • May be required to assume charge nurse duties • Must recognize safety issues and safely assess/implement patient lifts and transfers • Ability to function well in stressful situations with strong problem-solving skills • Provide quality patient care and assess clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual needs • Strong leadership skills with ability to prioritize and delegate required • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills required • 100 mile radius rule applies Facility: This medical center provides comprehensive healthcare services with a focus on critical care and intensive care unit services.
