Minimum 1 year recent ICU experience (Required) Trauma Level II facility experience (Required) Experience in teaching hospital, community hospital, LTAC, or Trauma Level I facility is preferred Required Certifications
BLS
(AHA only; no HeartCode) ACLS CHEMO Certification Preferred Certifications
NIHSS OCN TNCC Required Clinical Skills
Dysrhythmia interpretation & management Multisystem organ failure management Chronic/Acute renal failure CVVHD/CRRT Accessing/Managing
ports Blood product administration Central line & PICC care/management Starting/maintaining IVs Continuous IV sedation & emergency medications Titrating cardiac & vasoactive drips Chemotherapy administration Assist with chest tube insertion/removal Care of ventilated patients;
HFNC
use Ventilator management & ABG interpretation Suctioning (ETT, NT) Infection prevention & isolation precautions Phlebotomy Wound vac and surgical wound management Preferred Clinical Skills
(Not required but strongly valued) Neuro ICU & Surgical ICU experience FloTrac/Vigileo
