The Supply Chain Logistics Coordinator will coordinate all logistics, raw material, finished goods and other procurement. The Supply Chain Logistics Coordinator will ensure on time/in full delivery to our customers.

Responsibilities

The Supply Chain Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for the organizing and scheduling of shipments from origin to its final destination and completing all required shipping documentation.

Negotiating rates with freight shipping companies.

This position works with all departments, from sales to operations and has a tremendous impact on overall operational efficiency.

The SCC will be a member of the plant leadership team.

Analyze and optimize logistical procedures; Ensuring that all processes and procedures align with local, state, and federal laws.

Vendor/Supplier management; ensuring all CDI partners align and comply with CDI expectations.

Keep meticulous records of shipment information, inventory counts, invoices, bill of lading, etc.

Process purchase orders for materials based on min/max levels and demand.

Manage inventory min/max levels based on cyclical/seasonal needs.

All other duties, responsibility, reports, projects as assigned.

Coordination and communication: Collaborate with internal teams (sales and production) and external partners (suppliers, carriers, clients) to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business, related field or equivalent work experience

5+ years experience in logistics, procurement, vendor management, shipment consolidation and inventory management.

Able to work and respond in different time zones as needed.

Strong leadership skills: Participate in weekly plant leadership meetings. Focused on growth, continuous improvement and strategy.

Strong analytical skills with attention to details and ability to identify inconsistencies

Inventory management: Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels and records, resolve inventory issues, and track incoming and outgoing stock.

Shipping and transportation: Coordinate timely and accurate shipments, plan routes, monitor transportation, and negotiate rates with carriers.

Problem-solving: Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise in the supply chain, such as shipment delays or inventory discrepancies.

Coordination and communication: Collaborate with internal teams (like sales and production) and external partners (suppliers, carriers, clients) to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries.

Reporting and analysis: Prepare and present reports on supply chain performance to management and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.

Salary: $65,000-$80,000
