Overview
REAL ALLOY is the market leader in third‑party aluminum recycling and specification alloy production, headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio. With 17 plants across the United States, Mexico, and Canada, we convert aluminum scrap and by‑products into reusable metal for a wide range of applications. Advanced technologies enable us to process a variety of scrap and dross, reducing residual waste that would otherwise end up as landfill, and positioning us to meet the needs of a recycling‑conscious world. Responsibilities
Supervise shipping and receiving activities, ensuring raw material quality and timely, safe shipping of products to customers at minimal cost. Conduct daily physical inventory counts for raw materials and finished goods on hand. Direct and coordinate incoming and outgoing loads. Supervise unloading, inspection sampling, stocking, and grading of incoming raw materials. Work with the management team to facilitate timely completion of scheduled inventories as directed by Finance. Supervise weighing and storing of Remelted Secondary Ingot (RSI) production, pick and load RSI shipments, and track unprocessed RSI inventory. Conduct monthly meetings with employees and ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and company regulations, policies, and procedures. Ensure compliance with receiving and shipping schedules, monitor output and quality data, and oversee compiling reports for management review. Train new employees, investigate accidents and ensure the safety of all team members; determine overtime work schedules and approve time records. Maintain yard in accordance with plant housekeeping standards. Responsible for following work instructions, ensuring customer requirements and quality practices are met, complying with environmental regulations, company policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance by S&R staff. Complete other duties as assigned, as required by the needs of the business. Qualifications
One year certificate from a college or technical school and 1–2 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and directly related work experience. Supervisory experience in an industrial manufacturing work environment is preferred. General knowledge and proficiency in general business and the ability to use computer applications, such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), email and database programs; experience in Oracle is preferred. Strong mathematical and analytical skills. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communication skills. Ability to function with minimal supervision. Equal Opportunity
