Job Position: Speech Language Pathologist
Location: Toccoa, GA 30577
Pay Rate: $40-45/hr
Hours: 7:30 am - 3:30 pm
Birch Agency is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist for a position located in Toccoa, GA that will start in February. This is a school-based position and we are looking for an SLP with a passion for working with students with disabilities. The position is for maternity leave with the option to turn into a long-term role. Services will be provided to elementary school students in the 3rd and 4th grades.
Services You Will Provide
Screen new students for Speech/Language disorders
Evaluate students referred with speech/language disorders to determine degree and severity
Provide Speech Therapy to students with a wide variety of disabilities
Complete appropriate paperwork following state guidelines
Attend IEP Meetings
Confer with parents and develop home programs when necessary
Consult with Teachers
Work as part of Special Ed team
Provide thorough and accurate documentation in a timely fashion
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech and Communication
NC State Licensure/Certification
