Travel Respiratory Therapist – Atlantic City, NJ
Overview
Work with 1 recruiter from start to finish. Assignments locally or non‑local. Competitive hourly rate plus tax‑free stipend if applicable. No pay cuts mid‑contract. Referral bonus up to $1,000 per referral. License reimbursement if traveling to a new state requiring a new license. Choose assignments at partner facilities across the country.
Responsibilities Responsible for providing efficient, quality‑oriented patient care within the scope of the department's policy/procedure manual. Perform support activities such as equipment maintenance, changes, inventory, and set up and operate various types of respiratory care equipment for the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease or illness.
Location Details Atlantic City, NJ: Work by the beach, play like a high roller! Atlantic City offers a buzzing boardwalk, entertainment, and a laid‑back coastal vibe perfect for unwinding after a shift. From casinos and live shows to beach days and fresh seafood, this location is great for alternating work and leisure.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduate of a Respiratory Therapy program.
Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist in the state of employment.
Current BLS and ACLS certification from a Vibra‑approved vendor.
Additional Qualifications / Skills
One year critical care and/or artificial airway and ventilator care experience (preferred).
Professional image and communication skills.
Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
Freedom from illegal use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
Certificates, Licensure, Registrations
Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist in the state of employment.
Documented proof of obtained degrees for regulatory compliance purposes.
Current BLS and ACLS certification from a Vibra‑approved vendor.
COVID‑19 Vaccine Requirement Per Federal Health Care Worker Vaccine Requirements, all employees must be fully vaccinated against COVID‑19 or be approved for a valid religious or medical exemption. Unvaccinated employees on an approved exemption must submit to weekly testing and wear a respirator at all times while in the facility. Some states and locations may require increased frequency testing pursuant to state regulations.
