Job Description: Details: We are seeking a skilled Payroll Analyst to provide analytical and operational support during a period of resource disruption. This role will focus on auditing, reconciling, and ensuring the accuracy of payroll operations leveraging ADP EV5 in a large, complex corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Audit payroll runs for accuracy and compliance; identify and resolve discrepancies Reconcile payroll results to general ledger and financial reporting systems Research and resolve complex payroll and tax issues in coordination with vendors\ Support quarter-end and year-end processing (W-2 balancing, adjustments, filings) Analyze and validate payroll data, ensuring compliance with internal controls Partner with HRIS, Benefits, and Finance to support cross-functional integrations Prepare and deliver payroll reports, metrics, and insights for leadership
Experience:
Payroll experience, including analysis, auditing, and reconciliation Advanced experience with ADP Enterprise V5 (EV5), Workday or other Enterprise Payroll systems Solid understanding of multi-state payroll, tax, and compliance processes Strong Excel and data analysis skills (pivot tables, lookups, macros a plus) Experience working within large, enterprise-level payroll environments Excellent attention to detail, analytical capability, and communication skills Familiarity with GL accounting, payroll journal entries, and variance analysis Knowledge of benefit deductions and regulatory compliance around Savings and Retirement plans and Health and Welfare benefits. Prior experience with or knowledge of process improvement methodologies CPP certification or equivalent professional designation, a plus
Skills:
ADP EV5 experience Experience processing or analyzing payrolls for large, multi-state populations (5,000+ employees). Workday or other Enterprise Payroll Systems experience. Experience working in a large corporate or shared services environment preferred
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or HR preferred
