Overview Join to apply for the Overnight Staff Pharmacist, Amazon Pharmacy role at Amazon . We are seeking a Pharmacist to support overnight operations, handling tasks from dispensing medications to managing the full prescription fulfillment process, including filling, verifying, and packing orders for shipment, in addition to pharmacist verifications. This role involves hands-on operation to ensure timely and accurate prescription processing. Responsibilities Management and maintenance of customer profiles in PharmacyOS Initial prescription order processing and verification Prescription transfer coordination New prescription acquisition and processing Focus on system-based verification and documentation Verify medication quality assurance for all packet and bulk dispenses Collaborate with other staff pharmacists to ensure all produced packet and bulk sets undergo thorough quality assurance checks prior to shift end Complete ancillary housekeeping tasks including checking returns, inputting medication rejects, overseeing medication substitutions, and canister approvals Answer clinical questions and provide clinical guidance Investigate errors and facilitate proper resolution and reporting Collate and deliver pertinent pharmacy information to the distribution team Ensure compliance with all company procedures, Federal/State laws, rules and regulations Collaborate with other members of the pharmacy team to maintain customer satisfaction Basic Qualifications Bachelor of Science or PharmD Degree Active and unrestricted Pharmacist License in the state of employment (additional licenses may be required if domicile state differs) Knowledge of pharmacy laws and federal/state regulations concerning patient care Exemplary interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to perform basic computer functions Warehouse work capability, including the ability to lift 20 lbs Preferred Qualifications Experience in LTC or Retail setting Work Schedule Days / Swing / Nights based on availability. The base pay ranges from $93,400/year to $161,000/year depending on location and experience. This position may include equity, sign-on payments, and other benefits as part of a total compensation package. Pay varies by market location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
