Overview
As a PCS Consultant in our Coverage team, you’ll strengthen strategic partnerships and deliver client experiences across the private markets landscape. This role deepens client relationships, uncovers opportunities, and ensures clients realize the full value of MSCI’s private markets solutions through trusted, long‑term collaboration. Key Responsibilities
Drive client satisfaction and retention by cultivating strong, trust‑based relationships with stakeholders across a designated territory or channel. Identify and close cross‑sell opportunities by aligning new product offerings with evolving client needs and business priorities. Develop and execute tailored client engagement strategies to align with MSCI’s private markets value proposition. Lead relationship onboarding and transitions, collaborating closely with Sales, Client Service, and Operations teams to ensure a seamless client experience. Act as the central point of coordination for ongoing client activity, inquiries, and escalations, ensuring responsive and high‑quality service. Partner with internal teams to relay client insights that shape future solution development and enhancements. Participate in sales cycles for new clients to build early‑stage rapport and ensure successful handoffs into relationship management. Track relationship milestones, client feedback, and renewal outcomes to inform account strategy and continuous improvement. Qualifications
5–7 years of relevant experience in client‑facing roles within asset management, financial services, or fintech. Proven experience managing institutional client relationships and driving commercial outcomes. Strong knowledge of private markets or a demonstrated interest in alternative investments. CAIA or CFA designation, or a strong commitment to pursue certification. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build credibility with senior stakeholders. Strategic thinker with an ability to uncover opportunities and align solutions to client goals. Bachelor’s degree (BA, BS or equivalent) from an accredited four‑year college. Collaborative mindset and experience working cross‑functionally with Sales, Product, and Operations teams. About MSCI
