Key Job Responsibilities
Hands‑on involvement in the operation of prescription fulfillment, including dispensing medications, managing the entire process from initiation to final shipment.
Fill, verify, and pack orders for shipment, and perform pharmacist verifications.
Verify medication quality assurance for all packet and bulk dispenses.
Collaborate with other staff pharmacists to ensure all produced packet, bulk, and new business line sets undergo thorough quality‑assurance checks prior to shift end.
Complete ancillary housekeeping pharmacy tasks such as checking returns, inputting medication rejects, overseeing medication substitutions, and canister approvals.
Answer clinical questions and provide clinical guidance.
Investigate errors and facilitate proper resolution and reporting.
Collaborate with the pharmacy team to maintain customer satisfaction and comply with all company procedures, Federal/State laws, rules and regulations.
Provide pertinent pharmacy information to distribution teams.
Role Also Involves
Management and maintenance of customer profiles in PharmacyOS.
Initial prescription order processing and verification.
Prescription transfer coordination.
New prescription acquisition and processing.
System‑based verification and documentation.
Available shifts: Friday‑Monday 10‑hour shifts, starts 7:30 am.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor of Science or PharmD degree.
Active and unrestricted Pharmacist License in the state of employment (additional licenses may be required if domicile state differs).
Knowledge of pharmacy laws, federal and state regulations concerning patient care.
Exemplary interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to perform basic computer functions.
Warehouse work ability, including lifting up to 20 lb.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in long‑term care or retail setting.
