Job Summary The Occupier Solutions Project Management Director serves clients of all industries, asset types and levels of maturity as they access markets, develop new products, improve operational performance and implement unique growth strategies on a global basis. This position manages a team of Project Managers that work on behalf of our clients around the world. Newmark is seeking talented individuals who can work collaboratively with our service line leaders, subject matter experts and Newmark’s extensive brokerage network to develop industry‑leading analytical and problem‑solving frameworks that address the strategic, operational and business process needs of our client base. A significant expectation will focus on how the skillsets above help establish implementation plans that successfully position local, regional, national and global real‑estate solutions.
Responsibilities
Manage a team of project managers.
Prepare budgets, schedules, and revenue projections.
Work with in‑house proprietary technology and analytical toolkits.
Provide support for general projects and client account management.
Assist with client report writing and presentations.
Support all business development efforts to the Executive’s, Specialty Practice Leaders and Market Leaders.
Drive business development efforts across the different lines within Newmark.
Support the local real‑estate brokers in pursuit of new business.
Research opportunities to increase our client list including analyzing ways to become appraisers of record.
Support all major client presentations.
Provide sales support for key pursuits and business development activities.
May perform other duties as assigned.
Skills, Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a business, corporate/management, or commercial construction.
Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
Proficiency with technology and client service tools; PowerPoint, Access, Excel, Word and Visio/CAD CAM related project management and process mapping packages.
Working Conditions Normal working conditions with the absence of disagreeable elements.
