This is a research position for a person with PhD degree and broad experience in molecular biology and neuroscience.

The postdoctoral associate will be involved in daily research and operations in the laboratory of Dr. Yongchao Ma on studying neural development and degeneration. The postdoctoral associate will contribute to project design, research protocol development, data analysis, and authorship of resultant manuscripts. The postdoctoral associate will also contribute to mentoring other trainees in the lab.

This position requires the ability to work independently and, if needed, to collaborate with other researchers and core laboratories. The Postdoctoral Associate will design, organize and conduct highly specialized and advanced experiments using established scientific protocols and procedures and, in some cases, designing new protocols; summarize findings and publish results in research journals; assume general responsibility for scientific operations of the laboratory; provide supervision and guidance to junior technicians, students, and researchers.##**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:*** Ph. D. or MD in Medical or Biological Science Program.* Knowledge in Computer programs, word, excel and power point presentations.* Excellent writing and communication skills.* Organizational skills:
