Role Overview The

Head of Finance

will lead BotCity’s financial strategy and operations to ensure sustainable growth, compliance, and financial excellence across Brazil and the US. This role is responsible for building the financial infrastructure, driving accurate reporting, and enabling strategic decision-making that supports the company’s next phase of global expansion. The ideal candidate combines strong FP&A and accounting experience in high-growth startups with international exposure, a strategic and analytical mindset with hands‑on execution, and the leadership, communication, and integrity to act as a trusted advisor to the executive team.

Responsibilities

Build and lead BotCity’s finance function, including accounting, FP&A, treasury, and compliance across Brazil and other countries.

Design, implement, and manage scalable financial systems and processes (ERP, expense management, reporting automation).

Own company-wide budgeting, forecasting, and cash management, ensuring visibility and alignment with growth plans.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal stakeholders and investors.

Partner with the executive team to define business strategy through financial insights and scenario planning.

Manage relationships with accounting firms, auditors, legal/tax advisors, and banks in multiple geographies.

Establish internal controls and ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards (BR GAAP, US GAAP).

Oversee tax filings, payroll, and statutory obligations in Brazil and the US. Support fundraising efforts, investor relations, and board reporting, providing financial narratives and KPIs.

Recruit and develop a high-performing finance team as the company grows.
