Purpose The Overnight Receiving Supervisor is responsible for directing and overseeing warehouse operations at each retail store. This includes supervising warehouse specialists, order pickers, and forklift operators, as well as managing the daily freight schedule based on customer and inventory needs. Minimum Eligibility Requirements 1-3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a warehouse or distribution center environment Excellent interpersonal, team building, delegating, and follow-up skills Ability to maintain effective working relationships with other departments Effective communication skills (oral and written) Basic mathematical skills Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Windows-based systems Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Availability to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons Essential Functions Schedule warehouse personnel daily to ensure proper staffing for shipping and receiving Oversee daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, maintenance, and inventory control Manage warehouse storage transactions, receiving errors, and product staging Maintain warehouse equipment, including preventive maintenance and repairs Implement and oversee warehouse safety programs in compliance with OSHA regulations Train associates and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures Handle disciplinary actions and employee inquiries Coordinate with other departments for efficient operations Complete activity reports for management Monitor paperwork flow from Receiving to Inventory Control Resolve discrepancies in shipping, invoicing, and reports Execute Storage Buy Audit COP Ensure proper staging and storage of products Oversee inventory rotation within the warehouse Perform other duties as assigned by management Working Conditions Frequent exposure to warehouse environment and moving vehicles; noise level moderate to loud Physical/Sensory Requirements Ability to exert 30-60 pounds occasionally, and 20-30 pounds frequently; frequent use of hands and fingers; ability to stand, walk, reach, climb, and crouch as needed. Store and Pickup Hours Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM; Saturday 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM; Sunday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM. Pickup hours are similar.
