## LocationBrooklyn, New York## ## Shift:## ## Description:**Where Amazing Works!**Certified Medical Assistant performs a variety of clinical and clerical functions, in accordance with established policies and procedures, to assist the practitioners and management in daily office operations. This is a technical position with no supervisory responsibility. As a Certified Medical Assistant in our Primary Care and Multi-Specialty practice you will:* Prep and assist in the exam room* Triage Patients* Collects urine and draw blood samples* Take and record height, weight, blood pressure, temperature, and pulse of patients**This is a Full- time 37.5hr per week position with varied hours of 8:00AM to 8:30PM with a Monday through Friday and alternate Saturdays schedule. This position is located in Bay Ridge Brooklyn. Must be flexible to work and float to other locations if needed at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Medical Group.****Preferred Criteria*** Medical Assistant experience within a primary care and Multispecialty healthcare setting.* Strong Phlebotomy experience preferred* Bilingual- English; Polish; Russian; and Spanish speaking**Required Criteria*** High School Diploma or equivalent GED.* Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program.* A minimum of one-year medical assistant experience or internship in a physician practice* National Medical Assistant Certification* Current Medical Assistant Certification (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification through AAMA, AMT, NHA or NCCTJoin a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
