Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Location:

McLean, VA (4–5 days/week in office)

Compensation:

$140K–$165K base + bonus

A high-growth company is seeking experienced FP&A Managers to impact finance operations across the firm. This organization is recognized for its commitment to excellence, innovation, and collaborative culture, and is experiencing strong revenue growth.

Role Overview As an FP&A Manager, you will serve as a key financial partner to business leaders, driving financial discipline, strategic planning, and actionable insights across the organization. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning, and play a pivotal role in supporting decision‑making for your assigned business unit.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary Finance business partner for assigned teams, providing financial guidance and supporting strategic decisions

Lead development of annual budgets, long‑range strategic plans, and monthly forecasts, including headcount and operating expense analysis

Collaborate with business technology, recruiting, and HR teams to drive efficiencies in workforce planning and internal software spend

Develop and maintain scalable processes to enhance visibility into financial forecasts and performance

Drive special projects and conduct ad‑hoc analyses to support new products, marketing initiatives, and growth opportunities

Prepare presentations and analysis for senior Finance leadership and executive team

Utilize Anaplan (or similar tools such as Adaptive Insights), Excel, Power BI, and Tableau for advanced financial modeling and scenario planning

Qualifications

7+ years of progressive FP&A experience in a business partnering environment

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related discipline

Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to interact effectively across all levels of the organization

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment

Expertise in Anaplan or similar planning software is highly preferred

High comfort level operating in dynamic, ambiguous environments with a bias toward execution and results
