Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Equipment Technician III to join our team in San Francisco, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair of complex biomedical equipment and systems. This position requires a strong understanding of medical equipment and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, calibrate, and repair a wide variety of biomedical equipment and systems. Anesthesia, OR and imaging equipment a plus.
Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections on equipment
Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues with equipment
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure equipment is functioning properly
Document all maintenance and repair activities in accordance with regulatory standards
Requirements:
Associate's degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or related field preferred
Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Biomedical Equipment Technician in a hospital setting preferred.
Copy of training certificates and degree required.
Strong knowledge of medical equipment and systems
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Must pass background and drug screen.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
