We are a specialized law firm focused on representing victims of
cryptocurrency fraud and theft . We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized
Litigation Support Specialist/Quasi-Paralegal
to join our team in Brooklyn. This role combines standard paralegal duties with strategic case management, playing a critical part in helping clients recover lost assets. Because the majority of our success comes from
pre-trial settlements , the ideal candidate must be adept at handling documentation and working under tight deadlines, rather than focusing purely on litigation.
Key Responsibilities
Case File Management:
Organize, maintain, and manage extensive client case files and documentation from initial intake through final settlement.
Court Filings:
Prepare, assemble, and electronically file standard motions, pleadings, discovery requests, and other legal documents with various courts.
Documentation Support:
Assist attorneys with drafting correspondence, preparing exhibits, and summarizing transactional data relevant to fraud claims.
Settlement Focus:
Manage the administrative workflow necessary to facilitate settlement negotiations, including preparing final settlement documents and releases.
Administrative Tasks:
Handle general office duties, including scheduling, correspondence, and client communication as directed by attorneys.
Qualifications
Some foundational familiarity with the
paralegal landscape , legal documentation, and court procedures is highly beneficial.
Exceptional organizational skills and a meticulous attention to detail are required for handling financial and legal records.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and standard legal case management software.
Familiarity with cryptocurrency or blockchain technology is a plus, but
not required .
Must be able to work full-time in our Brooklyn office.
What We Offer
A competitive salary within the $55,000 – $65,000 range.
