The Architect II – Enterprise Solutions role is responsible for designing, optimizing, and delivering scalable enterprise architecture solutions across IAM, data, cloud, ERP/CRM, and integration landscapes. The role involves leading migration initiatives such as SiteMinder to Okta, defining IAM models, driving architectural decisions, mentoring teams, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and best practices. Key Responsibilities

Architect end-to-end migration from SiteMinder to Okta, including identity flows and access control models. Design and implement SSO solutions using SAML, OAuth2, and OIDC protocols. Define and implement Role-Based Access Policies (RBAP) and role mapping strategies. Lead planning and execution of user migration ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption. Collaborate with application owners to integrate Okta with internal and third-party systems. Develop architecture diagrams, migration roadmaps, and security models. Ensure adherence to enterprise security standards and regulatory requirements. Drive customer conversations to define requirements and technical architecture for data-driven solutions. Make architectural decisions based on data analysis and large-scale infrastructure needs. Create technical solutions, architecture documents, artifacts, and presentations. Review functional and technical requirements, raising potential issues and contributing to design discussions. Develop reusable frameworks, assets, industry solutions, and reference architectures. Collaborate with customers, security teams, and product management to identify feature opportunities. Work in an agile environment participating in continuous release cycles. Collaborate with Okta engineering/support teams for escalations and solution enhancements. Provide insights and business value to customer leadership and teams. Select appropriate technical options to optimize efficiency, cost, and quality. Validate results with user representatives and commission solutions. Conduct peer reviews and uphold high technical quality standards. Participate in ERP/CRM practice initiatives (case studies, reusability, knowledge sharing). Conduct technical assessments for architect/lead hiring. Design and maintain business domain solution architecture and guide technical delivery. Resolve delivery/design issues across medium-complex projects. Provide technology consulting, conduct PoCs, and create best-optimized solutions. Assist in requirement gathering, non-functional analysis, and risk mitigation. Support project estimation, proposal development, and technical planning. Develop reference architecture models, reusable design patterns, and components. Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency, productivity, and automation. Create technical presentations and communicate effectively with clients. Demonstrate expertise in SDLC, estimation models, requirement analysis, and resource planning. Required Qualifications

10–15 years of engineering and software architecture experience. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent field. Strong IT/software development background with proven solution design and architecture experience. Expert-level experience with business and technical applications across multiple platforms. Hands-on development and code refactoring expertise Proficiency in design/functional programming languages. Experience with enterprise integration patterns and security/performance-focused architecture. Knowledge of enterprise web technologies, on-premise/cloud platforms, and IAM/Security domains. Experience in cloud computing (AWS, Google Apps, Salesforce). Strong understanding of accessibility principles and user experience. Experience with employee identity use cases (HR-driven identity, AD, SSO, SaaS integrations). Strong knowledge of security concepts: LDAP, AD, SAML, SSO, RBAC, OAuth, OIDC, XML, SOAP, JSON, REST. Experience in SAFe (mandatory). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications

Domain knowledge in healthcare. Consulting experience. Experience conducting discovery workshops for customer requirements. Experience designing mission-critical or business program solutions.
