In this role, you will plan and administer anesthesia, providing comprehensive, patient-centered care for individuals of all ages and health complexities. Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesiology Program with a master’s degree, doctoral degree preferred
Bachelor’s degree is considered based on years of experience
Minimum of 3 years of anesthesia care in an acute care setting is required
Valid state RN license (must meet education requirements for state licensure)
Valid APRN recognition (must meet education requirements for state recognition and obtain within 6 months of hire)
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA)
Must maintain current ALS/ACLS (Advanced Life Saving/Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
Must maintain current BLS (Basic Life Support) for Healthcare Provider CPR or CPR/AED for the professional rescuer certification
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) and PLS/PALS (Pediatric Life Saving/Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications are required within one year of employment
