Role Overview: We are seeking a Field Commissioning Technician with expertise in testing, start-up, and commissioning of low and medium voltage electrical systems and mission-critical equipment such as Switchgear, Generator Controls, Transfer Switches, UPS, CRACs, DC Plants, PDU, Battery Cabinets, and other critical infrastructure. The role involves approximately 80% travel. Join a dynamic team where you'll manage projects from start to finish, ensuring high-quality implementations that adhere to strict standards. Key Qualifications: Experience in equipment commissioning and testing of switchgear, UPSs, ATSs, Battery Cabinets, PDUs, and generators. Perform start-ups, inspections, and commissioning of equipment including switchgear, generator controls, ATSs, UPSs, CRACs, DC plants, etc. Knowledge of LV/MV circuit breakers, transformers, switchgear, PTs, CTs, load banks, and generators. Conduct onsite Integrated Systems Testing (IST) for electrical gear. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent, with 3+ years of relevant IST experience. Experience with mission-critical power solutions and turnkey projects. Strong project management, organizational, and onsite testing skills. Ability to review electrical plans and develop risk mitigation solutions. Excellent interpersonal skills for cross-departmental collaboration. Physical ability to lift materials up to 50 pounds and perform demanding tasks. Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required. Ability to pass background, DMV, and credit checks.
