Apply Job Details Type: Full-time Department: LAB Title: Phlebotomist/Laboratory Representative Supervisor: Program Director Classification: Non-Exempt Description The Laboratory Representative will assist in specimen collection and laboratory operations, working closely with the Laboratory Manager and Technologist to ensure accreditation and compliance. Responsibilities Conduct specimen collection and observation. Manage laboratory supplies and materials. Ensure compliance with lab procedures and safety protocols. Physical and Work Conditions Work involves sedentary and ambulant activities, with occasional physical exertion. Must be able to see, stoop, sit, stand, bend, reach, and be mobile. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Risk of exposure to infectious materials. Support and comply with workplace safety and compliance policies. Requirements High school diploma required; associate degree preferred. Phlebotomy certification required or formal training with transcripts. Flexibility to work overtime or different shifts. Proficiency with computers; familiarity with lab information systems is a plus. Attention to detail, strong communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Additional Information Employees are expected to participate in continuing education and maintain current certifications.
