Senior Electrical Engineer

Senior Electrical Engineer – Substation Protection & Control JCW Group is partnering with a leading energy company delivering advanced utility projects. We’re seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead substation protection & control design and manage projects from concept through completion.

What You’ll Do

Lead protection & control design for substations and transmission lines up to 500kV

Perform coordination, fault current, voltage drop, and insulation studies

Develop schematics, panel layouts, relay settings, and SCADA integration

Mentor junior engineers and oversee project deliverables

Manage project schedules, budgets, and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams

What We’re Looking For

B.S. in Electrical Engineering (PE license or ability to obtain within 1 year)

5–7+ years’ experience in substation P&C and utility systems

Strong leadership, problem‑solving, and communication skills

Utility industry experience highly desired
