Single Family Office

is seeking an experienced and trusted Senior Staff Accountant. This highly confidential role offers a unique opportunity to support both personal and business financial operations at the highest standard of excellence.

About the Role As part of a close-knit finance team, the Senior Staff Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting, payroll, cash reconciliation, and vendor management across a portfolio of entities and personal assets. This role requires impeccable attention to detail, strong technical accounting capabilities, and the ability to manage sensitive financial and personal information with utmost discretion.

Key Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice review, coding, and payments across multiple entities.

Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and cash activity across both personal and business portfolios.

Oversee bi-weekly payroll processing, including bonuses, reimbursements, and sensitive employee data.

Maintain general ledger accuracy; record journal entries and reconcile intercompany accounts.

Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly financial statements for multiple entities.

Liaise with the Controller and Family Office leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting and assist with cash flow forecasting.

Ensure timely and accurate vendor payments, resolve discrepancies, and manage relationships with external providers.

Support audit preparation, tax documentation, and compliance requirements.

Uphold strict confidentiality protocols; handle all sensitive financial and personal data with the highest degree of professionalism and discretion.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.

Minimum 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience within a Family Office environment — Family Office experience is required.

Proven experience managing multiple-entity accounting, intercompany reconciliations, and complex ownership structures.

Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel, and COUPA (or similar expense management systems).

Strong working knowledge of GAAP and internal control best practices.

Demonstrated ability to handle confidential financial and personal data with discretion and sound judgment.

Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.

A polished, discreet, and professional demeanor consistent with white-glove Family Office standards.
