This is a 3-month assignment with a possibility of extension and conversion into a full time , opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! Responsibilities: Draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures. Has direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skilful, safe and accurate manner. Performs blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups. Performs specimen processing in a safe, accurate, and professional manner. Performs order entry; retrieves and verifies patient collection data and patient special notations using appropriate sources. Education/Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent.. Phlebotomist at least 6 months experience of Phlebotomy. The more experience the better Pay Range: $ 17 - 20.50/hr * Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
