Overview Join Pride Health as a Phlebotomist II at Mount Airy, NC. This is a 3 months contract role (with high possibility of extension) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment. Base pay range: $18.00/hr - $22.30/hr Location and Schedule Location: Mount Airy, NC 27030 Shift Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM Hours per Week: 40 hours Start Date: ASAP Pay Highlights: $18 - 22.30/hour (Based on years of experience) Responsibilities Perform blood draws (35–45 per day) on diverse patient populations, including pediatric and geriatric. Process specimens and perform rapid diagnostic testing (DT, flu, strep). Accurately complete data entry and ensure proper specimen labeling. Provide patient-facing support at the front desk, including check-ins and inquiries. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional draw room environment. Collaborate with a team member until 2:30 PM, then work independently to close the PSC. Follow all safety, compliance, and company protocols. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Experience: Minimum 2 years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections. Note: Local candidates within 30 miles are eligible. Offered pay rate: Based on education, experience, and healthcare credit.
