We are seeking a talented Senior Manager, Public Affairs. Reporting to the Assistant General Manager, Public Affairs, the incumbent will play a pivotal role in enhancing the Company’s visibility and reputation. By cultivating strong stakeholder relationships and promoting business initiatives, they will be at the forefront of corporate communications. Their responsibilities include crafting impactful communication programs and staying ahead of trends by monitoring both traditional and social media. Additionally, they will oversee the creation of corporate materials and engage in vital community relations, ensuring the Company navigates crises effectively and addresses any complaints. This dynamic role is essential for shaping the Company’s identity and fostering a positive public image. RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan, execute and implement corporate PR communications and sponsorship projects Plan and implement public relations programmes to maximise public awareness and gain support from district councillors, community groups and local residents for our projects Plan and implement engagement activities and events to enhance corporate image to key stakeholders including Government officials, academia, professional bodies and community leaders Take an active role in maintaining media relations by developing news angles, pitching and liaising with media Plan and execute media engagement activities, including media interviews and events Support other business units in their publicity campaigns and programmes Prepare and review news reports and situation updates relevant to the company for senior management Handle media enquiries and prepare responses independently Assist Assistant General Manager in managing issues and crisis Prepare and edit corporate collaterals, including press releases, corporate fact sheets, financial and sustainability reports and internal announcements REQUIREMENTS

Degree in Public Relation, Communications, Journalism or related disciplines Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience gained in public relation, corporate communication, press release, and media handling in large‑scale organisations or PR agencies of which 4 years in supervisory/managerial position Experience in local media outlets is preferred Experience in managing issues and press at large‑scale events will be an advantage A proven track record of copy writing, press release, corporate communication will have added advantages Excellent problem solving skills, ability to perform under pressure Good team player with strong interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity Ability to engage internal and external stakeholders Strong communicator with good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Putonghua) is a must BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES Decision Quality Business Acumen Drives for Results Ensures Accountability Builds Effective Teams Drives Engagement Situational Adaptability WHY CHOOSE US
