Responsibilities

Deliver strategic oversight and management of all Revenue Cycle operations, including billing, collections, coding, and patient financial services

Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and payer requirements while maintaining efficient, accurate billing practices

Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify trends, resolve issues, and implement process improvements

Lead and develop a team, providing mentorship and fostering a culture of accountability and service excellence

Collaborate with clinical and administrative departments to streamline workflows and optimize reimbursement

Oversee accurate and timely submission of claims, ensuring adherence to payer guidelines and resolving discrepancies

Support financial planning and reporting efforts to improve revenue integrity and financial performance

Leverage Cerner Community Works and complementary systems to drive data integrity, streamline workflows, and boost overall process efficiency across the revenue cycle

Experience, Education, Licensure, Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field experience

Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management with supervisory or leadership experience

Knowledge of billing and collection practices within a critical access or small rural hospital setting is preferred

Familiarity with Cerner Community Works is highly desirable

Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills

Ability to collaborate effectively across departments to achieve organizational goals
