The Opportunity
Lead a multi‑discipline team of engineers and technicians
Manage diverse and challenging projects across design services and EPC programs
Oversee design quality, budget, and schedule
Support client interaction, proposals, and business development

Key Responsibilities
Project Execution:
Prepare complex engineering deliverables for multi‑mega projects
Conduct research and develop equipment recommendations
Manage project budgets, schedules, and quality across disciplines
Lead large production teams and coordinate multiple activities
Establish and manage project workplans
Client Interface:
Identify key client interests and drivers
Communicate concerns and develop solutions
Support business development and pursuit activities
Manage project changes directly with the client under PM supervision
Technical Expertise:
Lead large multi‑discipline teams to meet deliverables
Provide technical leadership for complex substation projects
Drive solutions to achieve project goals
Management Responsibilities:
Review lower‑level engineering work
Responsible for hiring, discipline, and pay administration of subordinates
Preferred Qualifications
P.E. license highly preferred
Experience managing EPC or design‑services substation/switchyard projects for U.S. investor‑owned utilities
Deep knowledge of substation facility design, relay protection, civil/structural, and major equipment
Excellent communication skills and client‑engagement focus
Advanced engineering design principles and standards knowledge
Procurement process and contract administration knowledge
Proposal process and engineering estimate development experience
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited program in the U.S. or home country
Minimum 11 years of related work experience
Completion of pre‑employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, motor vehicle records) in compliance with applicable laws
Certifications and Licensure Professional registration or licensure in the designated home office country or active pursuit thereof is required for most positions. Exceptions may be approved on a case‑by‑case basis.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
Hybrid or flexible work options after 90 days based on manager discretion
Use of audio/video conferencing tools for internal/external communication
Sitting/standing/computer usage for extended periods
Travel to client sites as required
