Company 9 LLC is hiring a Production Shift Supervisor for Shelbyville, TN. The role will promote plant safety, quality, and team performance.

Responsibilities
Conduct routine inspections of facility grounds and structures to identify and initiate corrective action(s) for safety and environmental discrepancies, and physical and systems discrepancies.
Coordinate manufacturing activities to ensure production and product quality meet specifications.
Inspect equipment and product to ensure optimum safety, utilization, and quality. Communicate with all employees concerning safety, scheduling, problem‑solving, overtime, vacations, and training.
Review and support the master scheduling process to meet production needs.
Plan process activities and follow established priorities regarding procedures, equipment capabilities, process team performance, and staffing levels.
Review, analyze, and act to correct non‑conformance in areas of safety, production, policies, and procedures.
Lead, coach, and support line process teams to improve quality, increase flexibility and reduce costs.
Conduct required team meetings and safety training.
Provide feedback to hourly employees on job performance.
Promote and implement our Core Values daily.
Ability to understand and work well with team members, both in operations & support teams.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent (required); Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Five‑year supervisory experience preferred.
Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Understanding of manufacturing processes and working knowledge of plant equipment and safety.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to work weekends and/or shift work with a strong work ethic and employment history.
A self‑motivated individual that can multi‑task and lead others.
