Position Summary:
Person will be responsible for taking full control of CQC plan for Sauer on a project at the Norfolk Naval Station VA. Person will be responsible for overall management of the CQC plan and having full authority to act in all QC matters. Essential Functions:
Capable of coordinating with many Subcontractors Efficient/Able to plan days, weeks in advance Detail driven Skillful communicator with client/subcontractors Able to conduct QCM weekly meeting in a highly professional manner and instill confidence in client in the QC operations Perform/coordinate inspections Upload and manage QC data on a daily basis Experience with high end renovations Perform submittal review functions Proficient completing required daily documentation Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering Candidate must have 5 years' DOD experience 10 years' experience as a QC Manager on similar projects Certificate for "Construction Quality Management for Contractors" from USACE 30 Hour OSHA in construction Excellent knowledge of quality control inspection standards, procedures and applicable codes required Strong verbal and written communication skills Skills/Competencies:
Job requires the employee to sit, walk, stand, climb, bend/twist at the neck, bend/twist at the trunk, squat/stoop/kneel, reach above head, reach forward, push/pull, lift and carry. Benefits:
