TruckPro is seeking an Assistant Store Manager Aftermarket Truck Parts who will be responsible for assisting the store manager with the overall daily operations of the store with the prime purpose of increasing sales, gross margin, and overall profitability.

Assistant Store Manager Responsibilities
Assist with the increase of store sales by developing and recommending marketing strategies
Stay up to date on all product lines while maintaining an excellent vendor relationship
Assist with recommending, hires, trains, schedules, evaluates and directs all store personnel
Assist with coaching and mentoring for professional development
Assist with administration of financial matters including collection and disbursement of funds, payroll, etc.
Assist with offering customer service through counter sales, communicates directly with customers and national fleet accounts and directs inside and outside sales staff while building and maintaining key customer relationships
Assist with preparing various reports for Regional Managers
Assist with ensuring adequate inventory levels are being maintained
Assist with physical inventories
Successful Assistant Store Manager Candidates Will Have
Minimum one year of related work experience
Heavy-duty industry knowledge and experience (heavy-duty truck parts and/or heavy-duty service repair)
Ability to operate power industrial equipment (forklifts, etc.)
Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs
Valid driver's license with good driving record
Physical Requirements
The role is a physically active role
Will be required to lift, pick, pull, and stock heavy duty truck parts that might be in excess of 50+ lbs with lift assist devices
Will be required to stand for long periods of time on a variety of surfaces and will be required to operate a forklift
Will frequently be required to walk, bend, twist, step, stoop, reach, lift, push and climb
Will frequently use a computer in the course of completing daily activities
Work Environment
Exposure to typical inside and outside environmental conditions, including, but not limited to dirt, dust, vibration, minimal chemical hazards, noise and temperature variances
Exposure to retail operations, vehicle services, and general warehouse environment including forklift traffic, inventory staging – proper safety protocols are expected
