We're seeking a dedicated
Clinical Nurse Specialist
to continue the growth of our Post‑Surgical unit at Emory University Hospital Midtown. As the CNS, you will provide clinical leadership, integrate evidence‑based practice, and deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care for complex surgical patients. Responsibilities
Serve as clinical lead for a defined nursing practice area. Lead the integration of new knowledge and innovation within a specialty area. Design, implement, and measure safe, cost‑effective, evidence‑based care strategies. Collaborate with Nursing Director and multidisciplinary team to advance nursing practice at local, state, national, and international levels. Provide direct care for complex patients with multi‑system care issues and apply principles of fair and just culture. Utilize technology to expedite care and promote patient‑ and family‑centered care. Coach, mentor, and develop nursing staff through advanced communication and coaching skills. Serve as a clinical consultant to promote quality care and communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team. Minimum Qualifications
Valid, active, unencumbered Georgia Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board. Master’s degree in nursing. Meeting GA Board of Nursing requirements for CNS. Three years of RN clinical experience with at least two years of recent concentration experience. BLS and ACLS certifications required. Benefits
