Technology Account Lead – Energy Providers
Join Guidehouse as a Technology Account Lead focused on driving technology sales, building client relationships and delivering excellence across the utilities and energy industry.
What You Will Do
Own the technology sales and revenue target across assigned account.
Shape and convert a robust technology opportunity pipeline in alignment with client transformation goals.
Collaborate closely with Account Leads and industry teams to define technology‑specific growth strategies.
Serve as the senior technology point of contact for client CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, and their teams.
Expand Guidehouse’s brand visibility and credibility with key technology decision‑makers and influencers.
Identify emerging client challenges and proactively position Guidehouse solutions.
Represent the full suite of Guidehouse Technology capabilities, including AI & Data, Cloud, Cybersecurity, Platforms and Technology Strategy.
Architect forward‑thinking solutions in partnership with delivery and solution engineering teams.
Engage with technology partners (e.g., AWS, Microsoft, ServiceNow, Salesforce, Celonis) to co‑develop solutions and sell to clients.
Provide technology oversight across engagements to ensure delivery quality, innovation, and client satisfaction.
What You Need
Must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident.
Bachelor’s degree AND 12+ years of experience in technology strategy, digital transformation, or enterprise IT consulting in utilities or energy companies; OR Master’s degree AND 10+ years of experience in the same areas.
Proven track record of technology strategy sales, delivery excellence and client relationship development.
Deep understanding of enterprise IT domains (cloud, data, platforms, cybersecurity).
Strong communication and executive presence with a technology advisory and problem‑solving mindset.
Strong relationships with Utilities executives and experience working cross‑industry.
Knowledge of Power Utilities organization’s technology environment.
Ability to travel and work onsite in Guidehouse Office or Client Office as needed.
What Would Be Nice To Have
Preference for candidates within reasonable driving distance of an Energy Providers Client Office or Guidehouse Office.
Prior experience leading technology strategy practice areas at a top‑tier consulting or technology firm serving commercial or investor‑owned Energy Providers.
Experience with enterprise IT domains in the US Bulk Electric System (BES).
Knowledge and experience with technology solutions for grid OT/IT, AI/ML modernization, cybersecurity, asset management.
Technical degree or certifications in cloud, data, or enterprise platforms.
Compensation Salary range: $206,000 – $343,000 plus discretionary variable incentive bonus.
