The Neuromuscular Program with Henry Ford Health is seeking a board eligible/certified Neurologist with additional fellowship training in Neurophysiology/and or Neuromuscular to join our multi-disciplinary team. With 10 fellowship-trained Neurologists and one Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation/Sports Medicine Physician, Henry Ford’s Neuromuscular Program has over 20 years of experience in the medical management of neuromuscular diseases. Our busy clinical practice completes over 10,000 visits and 4,000 EMGs annually. Our six electromyography (EMG) labs have been designated Accreditation with Exemplary Status by the American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine.

Responsibilities

Utilize state-of-the-art EMG labs and provide expertise in single-fiber EMG and autonomic testing.

Opportunity to teach medical students, neurology residents, and neurophysiology fellows.

Offer a tenure-track academic appointment through Michigan State University – College of Human Medicine for qualified candidates.

Participate in active clinical trials and translational research within the Henry Ford Neuroscience Institute.

Collaborate in the Harry J. Hoenselaar multi-disciplinary ALS clinic, a certified treatment center of excellence.

Qualifications – External

Must have completed an ACGME/AOA approved Neurology residency program.

Must be completing or have completed an ACGME approved Neuromuscular and/or a Neurophysiology Fellowship program.

Must be board-eligible/board-certified in Neurology.
