The role As a
Staff Product Manager, Card Processing , you will serve as a highly influential product leader and domain expert within the Issuer Card Processing team. You will be responsible for defining and executing a major portion of the product roadmap, specializing in
credit and charge card processing capabilities
for consumer and commercial clients, across all channels including online (CNP), and offline (CP).
This is a high-impact, high-visibility role for a proven product leader with deep expertise in the complex and regulated financial services / FinTech space. You will be instrumental in modernizing our platform, driving the transition to a cloud-powered, scalable financial platform.
Success in this role requires a highly independent and driven product strategist who can synthesize complex technical requirements and effectively champion their product vision. You will have ample opportunities to present detailed business cases and execution progress directly to C‑suite executives to secure funding and drive alignment.
Prior experience with Commercial Credit Card issuing platforms is a significant advantage.
What you’ll do
Perform research to understand problem areas for our client’s customers, understand trends in Commercial, Consumer Credit platforms, liaise with sales teams to understand what problems prospects are looking to solve.
Build research-backed business cases in support of new ideas and get cross-functional support for your proposals.
Understand complex business and operational requirements and break them down into epics and user stories for engineering teams.
Prioritize and drive product backlogs with your dedicated and dependent engineering teams.
Ensure appropriate data is collected and analytics tools are instrumented for all products in your portfolio to drive deep understanding, innovation, and effective product plans.
Collaborate with product and engineering leaders across business units to drive synergies across common client use cases and requirements.
Work with internal project stakeholders from marketing, sales, operations, community, and executive management to ensure smooth go‑to‑market plans and deliveries.
Drive improvements to product management processes, frameworks, team structure, and culture.
Lead engagements with external partners and clients to advance product improvements and innovative solutions.
Lead in a fast‑paced, agile, remote first, dynamic environment.
What you’ll need
Bachelor’s degree or higher with a technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
Advanced degree or MBA with BS or higher in Computer Science preferred.
7+ years in product management with domain knowledge of financial and payment services.
Expertise designing, managing, and integrating with API‑first fintech platforms.
Demonstrated experience in issuer credit card, commercial card processing.
Superior written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage trade‑offs, and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with internal and external partners.
Experience managing complex product development cycles and highly technical solutions.
Experience leading cross‑functional teams to deliver products and projects on deadlines.
Highly organized and capable of helping teams navigate ambiguity and execute with confidence.
Demonstrated ability to document new ideas and drive innovations from concept to implementation.
Experience presenting to C‑level leadership (internal and external).
Ability to work with remote teams.
Compensation and Benefits The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, and location. This role may also be eligible for a bonus and/or long‑term incentives. US‑Based Base Compensation $144,000 — $210,000 USD
